DnB NOR Bank were upgrading their core banking application to a new two tier architecture which required both windows and System i servers for the front and back end respectively. Working with DnB we designed a solution using Blade Center integrated with System i through iSCSI to deliver improved application performance and reduced physical footprint and power requirements.
